Beer battered fish and chips is one of the most
famous fish and chips recipes though out the world.
Fish and chips became the famous food in
England around after 1850, served as a cheap
meal for working class people.
The fish and chip shops use variation of fish
from the cod, haddock to shark.
Beer battered Fish and chips recipe
- 600g of white firm fish fillets
- Beer batter
(200ml of beer mix with 150g of corn flour)
- Corn flour for coating
- 4 large Potatoes peeled and cut into sticks
- Oil for deep frying
Coat the fish with corn flour and Dip the fish into the batter.
Fry the fish in the oil at 180ºC, each pieces at a time
for about 5-6 minutes until it turn golden brown then
drain and place on the kitchen paper.
Fry the potato sticks until it's golden brown then drain.
Serve the Fish & chips together with Tartar sauce
or Tomato sauce.
