Thai prawn cake
- 500g of raw shrimp peeled, deveined
- 100g of white firm fish, diced
- 3 tablespoons of light soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/2 reaspoon of grounded white pepper
- Bread crumb for coating
- Oil for deep frying
Flat the prawns with knife then roughly chop them
Process the fish in the food processor then add prawns,
Soy Sauce, Salt, Sugar and pepper. Continue processing
for a minute until the ingredients are blended together.
Make the small patty shapes out of the mixture.
Coat the prawn patties with the bread crumb.
Heat up the oil at 160 C and deep fry the prawn cakes until
they are golden brown, set aside
Serve hot as an appertizer with sweet chilli
sauce or tomato sauce.
